97 /98 Fender Squier Protone Stratocaster Guitar.
By all accounts the production of the Protones was discontinued because the build quality on these were so good that it started affecting the sales of the USA build Fender guitars .
As you can see from the photos it is a stunning looking guitar which sounds as good it looks.
The condition is very clean for a guitar older than 25 years, it has some discolouration to the fingerboard but the frets are good so not too sure what it is.
The guitar came from a private collection rather than a gigging guitar
