97 /98 Fender Squier Protone Stratocaster Guitar.
By all accounts the production of the Protones was discontinued because the build quality on these were so good that it started affecting the sales of the USA built Fender guitars .
As you can see from the photos it is a stunning looking guitar , the ash body is nice and light with a real nice grain to it .
The condition is very clean for a guitar older than 25 years, it has some light playing marks from normal use but no big dings or dents.
The guitar came from a private collection rather than a gigging guitar
