1967 Hofner 500/1 Violin Electric Bass Guitar  - Made in Germany 
 
The bass is all original and looks and sounds superb  , previously owned by a collector how bought it 10 years ago for his collection rather than a gigging instrument . 
 
Considering the age of the instrument it is good condition , it does have some playing marks and crazing in the finish which is very common on these Hofner basses . 
 
Getting really hard to come by now so grab this one while you can.
