Rare 70s / 80s Yasuki les Paul Custom Electric Guitar - Made in JAPAN

Yasuki LP Custom Guitar .

Please do not confuse this with the lower range models - this one looks to be solid wood ( heavy ) with a set neck - most you will see from this period  have the bolt on neck. 

From what I can gather these were made by both Tokai and Suzuki factories in Japan.

The reason the guitar is priced low is that it took a knock while in transit which cause stress "cracks " around the base of the neck , pretty sure they were in the finish as there was no movement but to make sure had the neck checked over and professionally glued - I did not ask for a full respray but a touch up as I wanted to show that the damage was not major but please take this into account if you intend on bidding.

The guitar in the past had the electrics , pickups and bridge swapped out  ( originals not included ) - the pickups have been swapped out for a set of "double coil " humbuckers which sound great.

Plays well with a good action but as with an guitar would recommend having it setup to your own specifications.

The overall condition is good considering its age , it does have some wear to the body including some light playing marks , buckle wear .
